For anyone working outdoors all day in freezing temperatures, winter-proof equipment is a must! Equipped with a steel toe cap, steel sole, and dryplexx® membrane, the Okomu models are secure and reliable companions offering weather-protection comfort.
The practical slip-on boot version, with a durable inner-side zipper, enables quick and easy wear: No need to tie and untie laces – saving time and simplifying cleaning. Additionally, the system offers improved protection against snow and moisture, as the zipper is further concealed by a Velcro flap.

Breathable shoes only work with functional socks. Cotton socks store moisture. In contrast, functional socks remove the moisture from the feet to the outside. Then the breathable shoe membrane comes into play and transports the moisture to the outside of the shoe. Therefore the principle behind breathable shoes only works if breathable socks are worn. Only a combination of functional socks and breathable shoes effectively removes sweat sending it to the outside of the shoe. This is the principle of breathability.
