BOA, durable whatever the weather! Equipped with a water-repellent and windproof dryplexx® membrane, the work boots e.s. Apate II mid are like a comfortable safety shield for the feet: The cold, wet and dirt remain outside, and moisture on the inside can escape. Thanks to the practical BOA® Fit rotary fastener, the O2 work shoes made of soft velour leather can be adjusted individually and sit perfectly all day long. The all-round protection is rounded off by a reinforced tip and scuff cap made of durable polyurethane and a rubber/PUR sole with a good grip that conforms to SRC.

Breathable shoes only work with functional socks. Cotton socks store moisture. In contrast, functional socks remove the moisture from the feet to the outside. Then the breathable shoe membrane comes into play and transports the moisture to the outside of the shoe. Therefore the principle behind breathable shoes only works if breathable socks are worn. Only a combination of functional socks and breathable shoes effectively removes sweat sending it to the outside of the shoe. This is the principle of breathability.
